  • In 2D and Chronicles, fires missiles one by one.

Other Notes

  • Homing Missiles follows player indefinitely.
  • Massive knockback.

The Bazooka Soldier is another enemy not to be underestimated. They fires 4 homing missiles that chases the player until they hit something. his makes getting close to them extremly difficult, as you end up spending more time outrunning the missiles than closing in on the attacker.

The best strategy is to hit them with Ranged Attacks (in the main series) before they fires off a missile. You can lose a missile by luring it into a wall, it goes right through other enemies.

Since they are made to be effective against Fighters, the fight can be made easier by playing as a Ranger, then you can shoot them down easily as well as destroying their missiles.

Female Variant[edit | edit source]

female bazooka soldiers

Name in English

Charge Grenadier

Name in Japanese

Chaji Shuryudan Hei

Max HP

30

Speed

slow

Attacks

Charge Grenade

Damage

50

Special

Projectile exits the barrel slowly, but then rockets off with insurmountable speed.

Other Notes

  • non-homing projectile.
  • Massive knockback

The most dangerous of the basic soldiers. The female variants shoots Charge Grenade that, while leaves the gun barrel slowly, rockets off toward the player at impossible speed. Although not homing, it takes just 2 Charge Grenades (3 with max HP upgrade) to kill you, so you should avoid it at all cost.

Fighting one as a Ranger is unadviced, as the Charge Grenades are effective against stationary targets. You are suggested to use Fighters instead.

Standing still while facing them is literatly suicide. But since they can only hit stationary targets, they can be easily evaded by not slowing down.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  1. If You observe carefully, you will find that they held the bazookas in the same way as humans. Considering that is illogical for Sticktopians, as Stick Figures lacked any shoulders for them to carry the weight that way.
  2. The above statement is probably why the bazooka soldiers never appears in cutscenes.
  3. It should be noted that the Charge Grenade is obviously impossible in real life, due to how it screw physics.
  4. It is also never explained how the Charge Grenades work. Not even in-verse. Which leaves the fans brainstorming for the weapon's mechanic.
