Information
They are the majority of the enemy forces, and often come in large numbers to outnumber the player. They can be easily dispatched with any attack individually.
Their main attack is of firing their TX-120 at the player, and stabs with a Knife if the player gets close to them. Continuously attacking them will prevent them from acting, just like other infantry-type enemies.
They will sometimes appear alongside bosses to distract the player.
The general strategy against them is to attack them directly and individually, focusing on one at a time. If you're playing as a ranger, you can snipe them from afar, although shooting just one, even if the target dies in one shot, will alert the whole group of your presence.

first introduced in STICK 2 |
The female variant of the Basic Soldier has much better firepower, and also comes in large numbers. They can be harder to dispatch, due to their kick attack.
Their main attack is of firing their TX-242 Auto-Scattergun at the player, and kicks should they be given the opportunity to attack at close range.
The general strategy is to attack them continuously (as a non-Ranger) to prevent them from retaliating with their kick, or snipe them from afar (as a Ranger).
Trivia
- The japanese name for this enemy is translated as "S.T.I.C.K Gatling Gun Trooper", whereas the female variant is "S.T.I.C.K Shotgun Trooper.
